TradingView – The Study references too many candles in history

If you receive this message on your TradingView Chart “The study references too many candles in history”. Please see:

(You can see the error message by clicking on the explanation mark).

Then the study is trying to calculate too far back in history on your chart. I.e. it is trying to use too many Bars back in history. The solution is to change the Date in the study to a date nearer today (or ideally today) As you can see in this example, the date is from nearly a month ago:

To do this please click on the Properties of the Script:

Then change the Date and time to a point today that lands on the current Chart:

Then the Script should plot correctly.

Note:
Please remember that although MTPredictor has automatic setups, we do not suggest that you just follow these blindly as if it were a black box mechanical system, judgement is needed in filtering the automatic setups, particularly with respect a clear larger degree trend.
